New price tags for Baker and Cook
The artisan bakery and sandwich chain Baker and Cook has adopted the Edikio Price Tag solution in more than 17 of its stores in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Saudi Arabia.
The challenge: Creating labels that live up to the brand's image
Founded in 2012, Baker and Cook offers artisanal baked goods and gourmet sandwiches at its 10 locations in Singapore. The chain previously used laminated paper labels for its food signage,
- which were not very durable
- and required considerable manual production time.
The solution: food labels printed with the Edikio Price Tag Access solution
When the Edikio Price Tag Access solution was presented to the retailer, they asked us for some samples, which convinced them, particularly the matte black cards that matched the interior design of the stores. They were interested in the versatility of the solution and the possibility of using both vertical and horizontal display formats.
After implementing this solution, there was a significant reduction in manual labor and time spent making labels, and the point of sale looks cleaner and more standardized.
The Edikio Price Tag software is easy to use and updating the list of items is a breeze. The retailer was able to customize the labels by incorporating its logo and specific font.
The result: Customers appreciate the additional information provided on the labels.
Now, the product display counter is more attractive and customers can see the ingredients used in each product. The labels are perfectly clean because they can be washed with water and dish soap without damaging them, unlike laminated paper labels, ensuring better hygiene at the point of sale.
After introducing the Edikio Price Tag solution in its stores in Singapore, Baker and Cook has just done the same in Saudi Arabia and plans to continue the rollout in its Kuala Lumpur points of sale.
