Over the past ten years, the Biocoop group, France's leading distributor of organic products, has experienced dazzling growth.
Keen to convey a professional image and comply with European regulations on the display of consumer information, the managers of the three CABA-Biocoop stores in Anjou wanted to implement a new solution for fresh produce labelling.
The solution: Zenius card printer and cardPresso software for printing price labels
Until now, CABA-Biocoop used paper labels with or without lamination to present its products. "Today, our labels meet current standards and are much more professional.
The cardPresso software allows us to create our own labels in just a few minutes, showing the name of the product, its price, the European "controlled organic agriculture" logo, a small product icon and allergens!
The system is easy to use and requires no training," explains Isabelle Leveugle.
The result: quick, easy-to-edit price labels and a multi-application solution.
At the start, the Zenius printer produced over 100 labels for the cheese section and around 40 for the delicatessen section. Today, the store assistant customizes and prints around 15 labels a week for the three stores.
The store also issues cards with information for customers in front of the checkout, as well as employee badges displaying their first name and an icon indicating the department in which the employee works.
