The challenge: price labelling of items for sale in the restaurant
Villa Maria is a typical Mexican restaurant located in a chic district of Mexico City. It has a store selling mugs and other items. Previously, the restaurant used handwritten, laminated paper labels to identify and label the products on sale. But this was not an advantageous solution, as the price tags deteriorated quickly, and the fact that they were hand-written did not convey an elegant image of the restaurant.
The solution: printed price tags with Edikio Price Tag Access
Evolis' Mexican distributor, Identatronics, contacted the restaurant for a demonstration of the Edikio Price Tag Access solution, including a plastic card printer, dedicated software, printing ribbon and black cards. The user-friendliness of the hardware and software, as well as the elegance and legibility of the price tags, immediately convinced the manager of the added value of this solution for the restaurant: not only does it enhance the establishment's brand image, it also increases the efficiency of price tag production.
The result: 20 new price tags per week for each restaurant
The solution has been installed at the group's head office. The restaurant manager uses the Edikio Price Tag software to create personalized price tags with the restaurant's logo.
The card printer creates around 20 price tags per week for each of the chain's three restaurants.
